Enter Complementary Information on Work Order
Explanation
This activity is used to enter complementary information
on a work order, i.e., item class, work type and
priority. The work order can inherit an item class from
the equipment object, part or object type, or an item class can be manually
entered or edited on a work order if necessary. Work Task templates can be added from
the item class to the work order depending on the symptom that is connected to
the work order.
If the work order originates from a service contract
for which a valid service level agreement (SLA) order template is defined, a SLA
order is created and connected automatically to the work order. The SLA order is
generated based on the SLA order template on the applicable SLA line depending
on the work order priority or equipment object criticality or combination of
priority and criticality, on the service contract SLA.
Prerequisites
  - The item class must have been defined
	in the
	Maintenance
	Basic Data or
	Failure Analysis
	Setup Navigator window.
- Information on work type and priority must
    have been entered in the
Work Order and PM Basic Data
	window.
- The SLA
order template must be entered in
	SLA Order Template.
- A service
contract line must be defined with an equipment object, connected to a SLA.
- An
equipment object must be entered on the work order in order to enter an item
	class.
System Effects

updated with information on item class, work type, criticality and priority code.
- Work Task templates can be copied to the
work order from the item class.
- The List of Values for the Symptoms field will
be filtered according to the symptoms connected to the item class in the

	Failure Analysis
	Setup Navigator/Symptom
	tab.
- The work order is updated with the SLA order no created based on the SLA
order template defined in the service line.
