Connect Work Order to Project Activity
Explanation
This activity is used to connect a work order to an existing project 
activity. Once connected, planned and reported cost, revenues, hours and 
progress will be reported to the activity through the cost elements.
Prerequisites
  - IFS/Project must have been installed along with IFS/Work Order.
- Manual Connection for work order must be set to Allowed in Project/Manual Connections tab in IFS/Project.
- The project must be in status Approved or Started.
- The project activity must be in status Planned or 
	Released.
- The work tasks on the work order must not have any cost lines or 
	invoicable sales lines.
- All the necessary basic data required for a work order must be performed
    in order for the Connect To Activity right mouse button option to be
    enabled (right-click and point to Project Connections).
System Effects
	- The work order will be connected to the
specified project activity as a manually connected object. Right-click and click
	Project Activity Info to view a summary of the project activity. 
	
- The work order and existing work tasks will be updated
with the project's pre-posting.
- The work order will appear as a connection on the
	Project Navigator/Activity/Connections tab in 
	IFS/Project.
- Planned cost, revenue and hours from Work Orders will be 
	reported to the activity, through the cost/revenue elements.
- Actual cost, revenue, time and progress will be updated on the activity when 
  actions on the
    connected work orders are performed.
- If the work order belongs to a structure then the project 
	connection will be performed for all work orders within that structure.

Procedure
  - Open the
	Prepare Work Order
  window, or the 
  Report In Work Order window.
- Query for the relevant work order (F3).
- Right-click anywhere on the window, point to Project Connections,
    and click Connect to Activity. The 
	Connect to Activity
    dialog box appears.
- Enter the program ID, project ID, sub project ID, and the
  relevant activity sequence. Click List to select the appropriate
  values.
- Click OK. If the work order is successfully connected to a project
    activity, the Project Connected check box on the 
	General tab will be selected.
