Enter/Modify Employee Clocking Information
Explanation
This activity is used to view or modify the clocking records registered by an
employee. You can also enter new
records. The Time Card Day/Clocking tab as well as the Employee Clockings window
can be used to perform this activity.
The information displayed in the Time Card Day/Clocking
tab and Employee Clockings window is the original transaction
information. Using this activity, you can translate and adjust this information before it
is used by the system as the basis for time intervals generated to the Time Card
Day/Interval tab. When you modify the external transaction using
this activity, the associated clocking intervals in Time
Card - Day/Interval tab are also changed.
Note: Clocking intervals can be modified in the Time Card Day/Interval
tab without changing the original transaction. However, making changes
on the Clockings tab will cause the Interval tab to
be recalculated (possibly overwriting any manual interval changes).
Prerequisites
There are no prerequisites.
System Effects
	- As a result of modifying an existing clocking record, the corresponding
time intervals in Time Card Day/Interval tab and the Employee
Intervals window will be updated.
- The Calc Status field on the Time Card Day window
will be updated based on the generated intervals. If the entered clocking
records generates open intervals for the day, the status will be Open.

- If the status is Calculated, the result will be generated in the
	Time Card Day/Result tab.
- If the results generated by the clocking records are complete, the Completed check box will be
	selected.
- clocking has to be of out absence type, and the absence wage code
has to be set as a repeating (Wage codes/RMB on wage code - parameter-->
	Absence parameters/Repeating fild - repeated)
 Two scenarios:
If no TA association - the day will be closed and new open absence interval
will be registered on the next day. The procedure will continue until
	absence ends.
If TA association - the day will be closed and the associated absence (in
the Absence window) will be registered with the Ongoing check
box selected. The absence will go on until the check box is cleared.
- If the registered clocking has Out Absence selected in the
Trans Type field, and the selected Wage Code is set as
Repeating (this is done as part of wage code
	parameterization),
	two system effects are possible:
 If TA Association is
configured, the entire day will be closed and the absence will be registered
in the Absence window with the Ongoing check box selected. The
absence will keep prolonging itself by changing its end date until the check
	box is cleared.
 If TA Association is not
configured, the day will be closed and new open absence interval will be
registered on the next day. The procedure will continue until absence ends.
