Apply Control Plan Template to Parts
Explanation
In this activity, you use a control
plan template to create and activate control plans for many parts and also
propagate new changes to affected shop orders where relevant. This activity
will contain different steps depending on whether you are creating manufacturing,
purchasing or inventory control plans.
Prerequisites
	- A control plan template in state
Active with the correct type (Manufacturing, Purchasing or Inventory) must
	exist.
- For manufactured parts, a
	routing alternate must exist.
- For manufactured parts, the
operation numbers and work centers referred on the template lines must
also exist on the routing alternates. Using routing templates makes this
	easier to achieve.
Note:
If a manufactured part is configurable, operation numbers and work centers
referred on the template lines may not exist on the routing alternate, but
you should check that they refer to combinations of operation number and work
center number that may be the result of the configuration rules.
System Effects
As a result of this activity:
	- New control plans are created
	and made Active.
- If the part already has a
control plan, it is phased out and replaced with the new control plan on the
	phase in date.
- Affected Shop Orders will be
connected with the new Control Plan created through the assistant if user
	selects.
- If problems occur, a log is
created with warnings and error messages
