Activate Control Plan Template
Explanation
Use this activity to activate your 
control plan template revision. The control plan template must be Active to be 
used. A control plan template in state Active cannot be changed.
Prerequisites
A control plan template revision in 
state Created must exist. If a checklist exists, then all checklist items must 
be approved.
System Effects
As a result of this activity, the 
control plan template will be in Active status. If you are activating a new 
revision of an already existing template:
	- Control plans in state Created 
	referring to the template will be updated with the new revision
- Control plans in state Active 
	referring to the template will be phased out and replaced by a new revision
	
- Reference to Existing Active 
	Control Plans will be removed if the New template revision is activated.
- Affected shop order  will 
	be updated with New control plans.
- Note: Control plans in a state Active with simplified 
	revision handling enabled which refer control plan templates will behave in 
	similar way. Changes will not be directly applied to active control plans 
	plans, instead new revision will be created.

Procedure
	- In the control plan template 
	header, right-click and then click 
	Active 
	to change the control plan template to status Active. If the template 
	revision is referred by any control plans, the 
	Activate Control Plan Template 
	Assistant window will 
	open.
- In the 
	Phase In Date 
	field, you can enter any date in the future. If any existing control plans 
	are phased out, the phase out date will be today's date.
- Depending on the type of the 
	control plan template you will be guided through different steps.
Note: If the control plan template contains one or more 
control plan lines defined as Categorical, a Categorical Entry Type value must 
have been selected in the header section to be able to activate the control plan 
template.
