Remove DOP Branch

Explanation

Use this activity to remove some or all of the DOP order components and their structures from a specific DOP order.

When the DOP order is released, the status of the supply shop order for its parent DOP order and all of the supply shop orders in the branch must be in the Planned, Released, or Reserved status.
In addition, no purchase orders can exist in the branch.

As a result of this activity, structure branches will be removed from a specific DOP order.
Serial numbers reserved for the removed structure branches will be unreserved.
The Structure Changed check box will be selected for the specific DOP order and the DOP header.
Any netted quantity for the removed structure branches will be unreserved after performing this activity.
Any supply order on a higher level using the removed branch will be updated; the component will be removed from the supply order.

Remove all component DOP orders:

Select the DOP order from which you want to remove all structure branches, on either the DOP Header/Structure tab or the DOP Order/Detail tab.
Right-click, point to Change DOP Structure/Routing and then click Remove Branch.

Remove specific component DOP orders:

Select the DOP order from which you want to remove the structure branches, on the DOP Header/Structure tab or the DOP Order window.
Select the component DOP orders you want to remove, in the table on the DOP Header/Structure tab or the DOP Order/Components tab. Right-click and then click Remove Specific Branch(es).

From the tree graph (DOP Order/Tree Structure or DOP Header/DOP Structure):

Select the DOP order to be removed (including its underlying structure).
Right-click, point to Change DOP Structure and then click Remove Specific Branch.
In the dialog box that opens, click Yes (or No if you want to cancel the removal).
