Propagate Quantity Downstream
Explanation
This activity is used to propagate quantities downstream in a DOP
structure (to parent levels). The quantities on higher levels in the DOP structure will change with respect
to the quantity on the DOP order on which you perform the command.
Prerequisites
This activity requires that a parent DOP order exists.
System Effects
As a result of this activity:
	- The quantities on the parent levels
in the DOP structure change, considering the Order Qty, the Qty Per Assembly, the
Component Scrap, and the Scrap Factor for the selected DOP Order.
- The Qty Demand field under
	Demand
	in the
	DOP Header
	window is
the same as the Order Qty field on the top DOP Order.
- If serial numbers are reserved for a
parent DOP Order and the quantity decreases, the correct amount of the serial numbers is
unreserved.
- If a discrete unit of measure is used, the Order Qty for the parent DOP
Order is truncated. The start date is recalculated for the DOP Orders on
higher levels due to due date and lead-time, where the lead-time is depending on
lot size and routing revision and alternative.
