Create DOP Header
Explanation
Use this activity to create a DOP header containing part and demand 
information and configure its settings. Creating
the DOP header is the first step toward creating a DOP structure. 
Prerequisites
A DOP part must have been registered.
System Effects
As a result of this activity, the system creates a DOP header containing part 
and demand information. The DOP header settings will control how the DOP orders 
are 
processed when you create the DOP structure.

Procedure
  - Open the DOP Header window.
- Create a new record.
- 
	In the DOP ID 
	field, enter the DOP ID with letters and numbers. If the field is left 
	empty, the system will assign a generated ID automatically.
- Optionally, enter a description of the DOP in the Description field. 
- Select a part in the Part No field. Use the 
	List of Values to select from the available
    parts. 
- Enter the due date in the 
	
	Due Date field. 
- Enter the demanded quantity in the Qty Demand field.
- If the part is condition code enabled, use the List of Value to select a 
	condition code in the Condition Code field.
- Save the record.
- Select whether or not netting from inventory and/or existing 
	shop/purchase orders 
	should be allowed in the Netting list. The default value is inherited 
	from the Inventory Part/Aquisition tab, and will be further 
	inherited to the top DOP order when the DOP structure is created. If 
	selecting Netting or Auto Netting, specify the sources allowed 
	to net from by selecting the Inventory, DOP Sourced Supply Orders and/or 
	Inventory Sourced Supply Orders check boxes in the Netting Supply area.
- Select whether the DOP structure should be created for all parts in the 
	structure, or only for the parts set to be DOP supplied in the Structure 
	Depth list.
- Select whether or not code part values should be created automatically 
	in the Financial Integration list. 
- Select whether or not the DOP orders should be automatically released 
	when the DOP structure is created in the Auto Release list.
- Select the Allow changes to created DOP structure check box if it 
	should be allowed to manually add and remove components (configurable and 
	not configurable) and operations within the DOP structure once it has been 
	created. This check box will be default selected for non-configurable parts. 
	For configurable parts the default value will be inherited from the 
	Part/Part Configuration Revision tab.
- Save the record.
