Analyze Inventory Value per Period

Explanation

This activity is used to analyze the inventory value of the part for the specified period.

Prerequisites

• Statistic periods must have been defined in the Statistic Periods window.
• An inventory part must have been created and transactions performed on the inventory part. 
• Inventory transactions should have been aggregated for the specified period.

Procedure

1. Open the Inventory Value per Period window. 
2. Query for the period that need to be analyzed by specifying the search criteria.
3. The Value per Part tab then displays the inventory values per part number for the specified period.
4. The Value per Cost tab displays the inventory values per inventory part cost level (i.e., per part number, serial number, lot/batch number or condition code and configuration).
5. The Value per Detail tab displays the inventory values per inventory part cost level as well as the cost source and posting cost group.
6. The Value per Part and Location Group displays the inventory values per part number and location group.
7. The Value per Cost level and Location Group tab displays the inventory values per inventory part cost level (i.e., per part number, serial number, lot/batch number or condition code and configuration) and location group.
8. The Value per Detail and Location Group tab displays the inventory values per inventory part cost level and location group as well as the cost source and posting cost group.
