Calculate Manufacturing Lead Time
Explanation
This activity is used to calculate a part's order manufacturing lead time. The
manufacturing lead time is calculated from the default routing and lot size of
the part; it considers the setup, move, operation times, and the efficiency
factor entered for the operation. The system also considers information abut
queue time and shifts, i.e., the number of work hours per day from the work
center where the operation is performed. You specify whether you want to run the
calculation for one part at a time or for all parts in a specific site.
Prerequisites
This activity requires that a part must be defined with a routing.
System Effects
As a result of this activity:
	- The system calculates the manufacturing lead time for a part or parts on
	a site.
- The system updates these lead time values on the
	Inventory
	Part/Manufacturing tab in IFS/Inventory.
