Connect Node
Explanation
This activity is used to reconnect a disconnected node 
to a consolidation structure.
Prerequisites
In order to perform this activity:
	- The status of the 
consolidation structure should be In Progress.
 
	- The node to be reconnected should be available in the Floating 
	Nodes section.
 
System Effects
As a result of this activity, a new node connection is created 
between a disconnected node and an existing node in the 
consolidation structure.

Connect Node 
Procedure
To connect a disconnected node:
	- Open 
	Consolidation Structure window and 
search for the consolidation structure to which the node should be connected.
 
	- Right-click on the node to which the new node 
	should be connected and click Connect Node to open the 
	Connect 
	Node dialog box.
 
	- In the Node field, enter the ID of the node you want to connect to 
	the consolidation structure. The List of Values can be used to select the 
	required node.
 
	- In the Ownership field, enter the ownership percentage for the new 
	connection.
 
	- Select a value for the Consolidation Method 
	field.
 
	- Enter the date of connection in the Event Date 
	field.
 
	- Modify the value displayed in the Period
	field
	if required. (Note: The period is automatically displayed when you 
	enter a date in the Event Date field.) 
 
	- Enter a description in the Comment field if 
	required. 
 
	- Double click on the Notes check box, if you 
	want to enter notes.
 
	- Click OK. 
	
 
To connect a disconnected node from the Floating 
Nodes section:
	- Open Consolidation Structure window and 
	search for the consolidation structure to which the node should be connected.
 
	- Right-click on a node in the Floating Nodes 
	section and click Connect Node to open the 
	Connect Node dialog 
	box.
 
	- In the Node field in the Connect To 
	group box, enter the ID of the node to which the disconnected node should be 
	connected. The List of Values can be used to select the relevant node.
 
	- Repeat steps 4 -10 of the previous procedure.
