Open Archived BR Report

Explanation

This activity is used to open a Business Reporter report that is saved in the Business Reporter Export Archive. The executed Business Reporter report is saved during export of the Excel report without attaching Business Reporter functionality.

The report from the BR export archive is opened in the executed mode (with the old dataset). The users can re-execute the BR report if fresh database values are needed for the report.

Prerequisites

In order to perform this activity:

• The report you want to open must have been saved in the Business Reporter export archive.
• You must have access to the report.

System Effects

The selected report will be opened in the Business Reporter client in its executed mode.

Procedure

To open a Business Reporter report:

1. Click Manage Export Archive to open the Manage Archive dialog box.
   Note: Once you export the Excel report without Business Reporter, you will be asked whether you want to manage the archive. You can open this archive box by clicking Yes when the question appears.
2. Select a report in the Report Selection tab and then click Open.
